Following the recent RMTA committee meeting, we have two updates to share.
1) Event Fees
Event fees will increase to ensure the club can cover increases in fixed costs such as venue fees and porta-potty rental.
$40 – Club member
$50 – Non-member
$80 – Family
Ute Cup entry fees will also increase, see the Ute Cup flyer and sign-up information for more details.
2) A-EX Class
A new class is available to enter this year, to create a bridge between the Advanced and Expert classes.
A-EX is intended to be a class for riders who routinely win or place in Advanced, but do not have the skill to safely ride all Expert sections.
To ensure this class is not a burden to trials masters and minimises extra section setting work, each trials master will identify the 3-5 Expert sections appropriate to be ridden by a strong Adv-class rider, and mark only the Section Start cards accordingly “A-EX”. This class will run for 2025 and represents a championship class, and we’ll review how it went in the committee meeting at the end of 2025.
