Howdy all,
Here’s a couple things about the next event at Hartmans Rocks in Gunnison.
Our public land managers have been hard at work putting boulders around roads and blocking off spots in the Hartman Rocks area so that people are much more limited on available campsites than in the past. This appears to be a trend but be prepared to camp with as small a footprint as possible if you are camping, or further away from the pits (same spot), or even staying down in town and taking the 15 minute trip to the site.
