
2023 AMA/NATC National Observed Trials Series
May 27-28, 2023 – West Rounds 1 & 2
Location: Stock Ranch, Canon City, CO
Stock Ranch is located just North of Canon City – see Google map above. Canon City is about 35 miles West of Pueblo on Hwy 50, and about 42 miles South West of Colorado Springs. Groceries and numerous restaurants and lodging options are available close by in Canon City.
Directions to Stock Ranch from Canon City (US 50):
Go North on Dozier Ave (Walmart Intersection)
Go 1.0 mile and continue around left bend as Dozier becomes Central Ave – go another 0.6 mi
Turn R (North) – on Field Ave – go 2.2mi
Turn R (Northeast) – on Red Canyon/Co Rd 9 – go 0.8mi
Turn L (West) – at Stock Ranch Gate
Fees
Daily fee for age 13 or over is $10/day or $20 for entire weekend – applies to all attendees (riders and spectators). $25 camping fee for weekend (per rig/camp). Registration for the event and competition fees can be found on the NATC website here: https://www.dabtracker.com/MotoTrials/
Primitive on site camping
There is primitive camping available at the trials site. You do not need to reserve a spot but rigs will need to be tucked in due to limited area. Please use leveling block – NO HOLE DIGGING please. No water or power available. NO GENERATORS AFTER 9 PM. If you are unable to get through the night without running a generator, please make other lodging plans.

There are campgrounds and numerous “glamping” cabins located about 15 miles West on HWY 50 at Royal Gorge, check online. Nice and quiet there with spectacular views.

Supplementary Event Rules
- A land use fee of $10 per day ($20 max for weekend) will be collected for each rider and person present (12 and under free), with a $25 fee for camping per unit.
- There will be a $10 per day, ($20 max for weekend) per day fee for spectating.
- Riders should stay in designated practice areas prior to the event. Sections are off limits until the event and riders/minders will be disqualified if found at or in sections prior to the event.
- NO ALCOHOL is allowed on Stock Ranch property. This event is on private property, please respect the property and leave no trash.
- GENERATORS OFF 9 PM TO 8 AM
- Porta johns and trash bins will be available in the pit area.
- This area is rugged, rocky canyons with high desert conditions. Expect warm day temps but cool nights as soon as the sun goes down.
