There is plenty of dry camping on site at Turkey Rock with access for larger rigs. There are also several RV parks with full hookup sites, tent sites and cabins within 5 minutes of Turkey Rock. These locations are busy during the summer months. Booking months in advance is highly recommended, the sooner the better!

Non ethanol 91 octane fuel is hard to come by near the trials site. If you need fuel, there is one gas station in Canon City that carries it.

Salida, CO is located west on Hwy. 50 approximately 20 minutes from the trials site. Salida has numerous motels, restaurants, and downtown shopping district.
On Friday and Saturday afternoon when everyone is overheating from the sun and competition, we will be running a shuttle to a favorite beach area on the Arkansas River. The beach area is a few miles upstream from Turkey Rock with a swimming hole and rock cliffs to jump off. We will provide life jackets. This was a hit last time!
There will be a group score trial on Saturday and Sunday afternoon for anyone interested. The entry will be $20 but will be waived if you help score for 2 days of the national. We will use the same sections as the youth and women which should accommodate all levels. Two loops will be ridden on Saturday and one loop on Sunday for a combined score.
On Saturday evening Larry Lund will host a potluck at his residence one mile from Turkey Rock on County Road 45. Everyone is welcome. Lund Eye Care is sponsoring all the meat we just ask that you bring a side/dessert. Larry has a great trials practice stadium, and everyone is invited to bring your bikes if you still have the energy!
